Wake Up In Your Dreams:
Sleep + Dream Yoga
with Lia Rey
Tuesday, September 15th
6:30-8:30pm
Online + In-person
What happens to you between the moment you close your eyes and the moment you wake up?
Most of us can't say. A third of a life goes by unwitnessed, and for the most part, we don't think twice about that…
But dream yoga practitioners think about it...A LOT. This is a meditative practice from Tibetan Buddhism that treats sleep as a doorway: a place where the self you carry all day loosens, dissolves, and transforms into something far more spacious.
The room you stood in last night, nobody built it — you did. Dream yoga is the practice of meeting that creative field of consciousness on purpose…and letting it change how you see waking life too.
In this two-hour introduction with Lia Rey, you'll learn how to meditate to expand your awareness, how to perceive the perceiver, what to do with your mind in the last ten minutes before sleep, the why what and how behind how it all works, and then move through a guided meditation where the boundaries soften and you rest as the luminosity that holds it all, without labeling any of it.
You'll leave with a practice already begun, one mental movement to do the same night as you drift off, and a new lens of reality to try on.
No experience needed + no belief required.

Lia Rey
Lia Rey is a certified meditation and dreamwork practitioner as well as a certified meditation and yoga teacher. She has studied in California and New York with a lineage of teachers who have all contributed to the wisdom she holds today, including Three Jewels NYC, where she studied with Hector Marcel and Sachi Pettit, and where she continues to assist meditation teacher trainings. She also holds a degree in cognitive behavioral neuroscience from UCSD, which lends to her comprehensive perspective and holistic teaching style.
Dream yoga is a lineage of Tibetan Buddhist practices built on the premise that a third of a life does not have to go unused. Lia has one hand on the mechanics of that, which are concrete and learnable, and which she will teach you. The other is on the mystery, which she doesn't try to explain away. She is more interested in what a practice does than in what it promises, and she works from the position that dreaming is a skill rather than a gift: most people who think they don't dream are simply not catching them yet.
