Maha Rose’s roots go back to 2005 when founder Lisa Levine started hosting healers and meditation circles in her Greenpoint loft, evolving from intimate gatherings to a formal healing center after she completed studies in reiki, acupuncture, and breathwork. In the fall of 2013, following a packed grand‑opening in a newly renovated Greenpoint space, Maha Rose officially launched as a public holistic center offering reiki training, sound baths, tarot, acupuncture, breathwork, and more
Over the years, Maha Rose became a trusted hub for energy and mind–body healing in Brooklyn, until the physical Greenpoint location closed in 2020 due to the pandemic, shifting its offerings online and maintaining its renowned workshops, healing sessions, and community spirit.
Maha Rose's new Brooklyn location has beautifully settled into the Columbia Street Waterfront District. This move marked a transition from its original Greenpoint loft-style center to a purposefully designed, street-level healing sanctuary.
