Tea Ritual and Sound Journey

with Eszter Tóth & Marika Koguchi
Saturday, August 15th
11-12:30pm

Experience an immersive tea and sound journey created in collaboration with Eszter Tóth and Marika Koguchi.

This intimate gathering begins with a restorative sound bath guided by Marika, followed by a silent tea meditation hosted by Eszter. Together, they weave the healing practices of sound and tea into a shared ritual of presence, stillness, and connection.

Join us as we slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and gather in community on a beautiful summer morning. Together, we will honor the simple act of being present through sound, tea, silence, and shared space.

Eszter Tóth

Eszter Tóth is a Hungarian-born, New York–based tea practitioner. Her connection to tea began early in life and later evolved into a dedicated daily practice. Her journey led her to China, where she studied tea and traveled through the tea regions of Yunnan, deepening her understanding of tea as both ritual and living tradition. She is the Co-Founder of Teagather, a late-night teahouse in Chelsea, created to share tea in an intimate, communal setting where people can slow down, connect, and experience the quiet depth of tea together.

Marika Koguchi

Marika Koguchi is a certified sound therapist, artist and meditation facilitator that focuses on stress reduction, relaxation and resetting the nervous system. After working for years in healthcare she suffered burnout and decided to shift her work into wellness through sound meditation alongside other healing modalities such as art, tea ceremony and forest bathing. For the past 5 years she has been helping people tap into their inner creativity and heal themselves with her sound baths by using sound as medicine.
