Returning to the Waters:
A Tea Meditation

with Eszter Toth
Saturday, May 2nd
11-12:30pm

Are you feeling the intensity of this year’s fire, or noticing how much has been
moving beneath the surface?

As the month of the Yang Water Dragon comes to a close, this tea meditation offers a space to slow down, cool, and listen. In the language of BaZi—the Chinese system of elemental energetics—Yang Water carries the qualities of the ocean: fluid, intuitive, and deeply reflective, while the Dragon stirs movement, vision, and transformation.

Participants will be gently introduced to these elemental themes, offering a lens to reflect on the past month of April—what has shifted, what has surfaced, and what is ready to settle. The ceremony will then move into silence. Through a guided tea practice, guests are invited to sit in stillness, allowing the calming nature of water to balance the heightened fire energy of the year.

This workshop is for anyone seeking a moment of pause, reflection, and reconnection—with themselves, with the present moment, and with the subtle language of tea.

No prior experience with tea or BaZi is needed. All are welcome.
