Restorative Contact:
Mindful Touch & Movement for Women
with Gabrielle Revlock
Saturday, March 7th
6-8pm
Are you looking for a safe, supportive structure to explore interpersonal touch?
In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women's Day, this month’s practice will be limited to female-identifying participants. Guided and developed by somatic educator Gabrielle Revlock, Restorative Contact offers a grounded, consensual space to experience mindful touch and movement in community.
With care and respect for one’s own body and that of a partner, this practice invites the calming, healing, and restorative power of touch—within a container that centers safety, choice, and mutuality. The workshop is strictly non-sexual. Participants are welcome to attend with a chosen partner —offering a base level of trust that can be especially supportive for those new to touch-based movement. Individuals are also welcome to sign up solo and will be partnered upon arrival. This is ideal for participants who have a base level of comfort with interpersonal touch.
What to expect:
Through this gentle attunement practice, participants often experience a renewed sense of calm and connection—to themselves and to others. Many leave feeling more grounded, supported, and resourced, with effects that linger well beyond the session.
Testimonials:
“I was taken to a place of healing that I was not aware would be possible with a total stranger.” – Roksana
“The workshop stimulated a positive hormonal charge that lasted through the next few days.” – Lys
***
The workshop is accessible to participants who can be on the ground for extended periods of time; however, many adaptations can be offered, and the practice uses supportive props for comfort.
