New Day:
A Spring Equinox Breathwork Ceremony
with Mina Bahadori
Friday, March 20th
7-9pm
March 20, 2026 is a deeply meaningful day that we are honored to gather around. At 10:46am EST, we welcome the first day of Spring, the vernal equinox. This is a rare moment of perfect balance between light and dark. This day also marks the beginning of the Iranian calendar, known as Nowruz, meaning βNew Day.β
Persian New Year celebrates renewal, rebirth, new beginnings, and the triumph of light over darkness. It invites themes of growth, possibility, and abundance, both in nature and within ourselves.
Mina will begin the evening with a grounding visualization to nurture our relationship to the earth and to our inner potential. From there, we will gently transition onto our backs for an intuitive, self-paced breathwork journey.
The breath pattern is a two-part inhale and one-part exhale through an open mouth, which supports the stimulation of life force energy, emotional release, and expanded spaciousness. The experience will be guided with somatic cues, affirmations, and energizing electronic music to help you stay present, supported, and embodied.
Reiki energy will flow throughout the room, offering an additional layer of subtle support and sweetness to the container.
We will close with time for reflection and community connection, accompanied by Persian tea and traditional snacks in honor of Nowruz.
Join us in welcoming a new day, a new season, within and around us.
