Mindful Writing Workshop

with Sarah Herrington
Saturday, April 20th
12-2pm
Maha Rose Brooklyn

Let's write and care for our inner muse via meditation, breath-work and sound healing at the end of this winter month!

The art of writing is the practice of paying deep attention. In this class we'll begin by dropping into silence through meditation and breath work, then will connect with the realm of language through a sequence of in-class, generative writing exercises. Get ready to feel like a word-factory, writing in class.

We will end our experience with relaxation and sound-healing.

You'll leave this workshop with new work on the page and ideas for how to develop what you wrote post-class. You'll also have more tools for your at-home creativity practice in the form of meditative exercises and writing practices you can use immediately and return to again and again.

This workshop is open to both new writers and those with a writing practice.
