What Your Hands Reveal:
An Introduction to Palmistry
with Izaskun Zabala
Thursday, October 22nd
6:30-8:30pm
Have you ever looked at your hands and wondered what they might reveal
about the way you move through life?
In this two-hour introductory workshop, palm reader and jeweler Izaskun Zabala will guide students into the art and practice of classical palmistry through a grounded and observational approach. This workshop explores palmistry as a language of self-awareness — a way of understanding personality, energy, communication styles, emotional patterns, and how we relate to the world around us.
Students will learn the foundations of hand reading, including:
the four elemental hand shapes
fingers and thumb structure
flexibility, texture, and other important modifiers
the meaning of the major lines
how to begin observing hands with clarity and confidence
The workshop will include practical exercises where students will observe and read their own hands in a supportive and engaging environment. This workshop is designed for complete beginners, curious minds, artists, therapists, intuitives, and anyone interested in learning how the hands reflect lived experience.
Students will leave with a foundational understanding of palmistry and simple tools to continue exploring the language of the hands in everyday life.

Izaskun Zabala
Izaskun Zabala is a palm reader, jeweler, and educator originally from the Basque Country in Spain. She has been studying and practicing palmistry since 2013, with a grounded approach inspired by the classical teachings of Ellen Goldberg and experiential observation. After years of reading hands at corporate events and private gatherings in New York City, Izaskun returned to rural Spain, where she continues to offer palmistry sessions, workshops, and handcrafted symbolic jewelry through her brand, Izaskun Zabala. Her work explores the connection between hands, personal experience, creativity, and self-awareness. Rather than approaching palmistry as fortune telling, she teaches it as a practical language of observation — one that reveals patterns of thought, emotional tendencies, communication styles, and the ways people move through life. Known for her calm, direct, and accessible teaching style, Izaskun creates spaces where beginners can approach palmistry with curiosity, clarity, and confidence.
