Restorative Contact:
Mindful Touch & Movement for Couples
with Gabrielle Revlock
Wednesday, April 22nd
7-9pm
Is physical touch or quality time a pathway you’d like to explore with your partner?
Restorative Contact is a guided, somatic movement experience designed to support connection, attunement, and nervous system regulation between partners. This workshop offers couples a gentle yet meaningful way to deepen trust and manifest embodied presence.
Participants will be guided through a mindful touch practice that prioritizes listening, choice, and agency. We will work slowly, with care and respect for our own bodies as well as our partner’s, learning to listen through the skin. Touch has far-reaching effects on emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being. Research shows that nurturing touch can boost dopamine and serotonin—the “feel-good” hormones—as well as oxytocin, often referred to as the “bonding” or “love” hormone.
The practice is intimate and connective, emphasizing attunement, safety, and mutual support. While the work may feel tender, warm, and bonding, it is strictly non-sexual and held within a clear container that supports emotional closeness rather than sexual expression. Open to couples seeking to deepen their connection through physical touch and quality time. Open to romantic partners of all identities.
No prior movement experience required.
