Tuesday, December 5th -- Intro to Sound School

with Katie Down and Jessica Caplan

This one-night workshop will offer participants a taste of Sound School, an 18-hour introductory training to the therapeutic and shamanic use of sound, scheduled to run the weekend of February 10-11, 2018. Join licensed creative arts therapist and sound therapist Katie Down, and sound practitioner, vocalist and yoga instructor Jessica Caplan, for an evening of exploration of sound, your personal connection to it, and an investigation into how you can expand your listening to create inner stillness and wellbeing.

Jessica and Katie teamed up last winter to offer Sound School, as well as a follow-up retreat at Maha Rose North in the Spring, and are excited to be collaborating again at Maha Rose. This event will weave together theory with experiential learning, including a guided sound meditation, deep listening exercises, and a short sound bath.

No experience necessary. Come with a curious mind, a pen and journal, and wear comfortable clothing.

Exchange: $45
