Thursday, April 4th -- Intro to Thai Yoga Therapy
with Sarah Seely
Imagine a bodywork that combines the effects of yoga, meditation, and deep tissue massage at the same time. That is the secret to Thai Yoga Therapy.
Based on Nuad Bo-Rarn, the ancient massage style of Northern Thailand, Thai Yoga Therapy is a dynamic, therapeutic approach to healing that uses reflexology, acupressure, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, and passive stretch to promote physical, energetic, and spiritual healing.
In this workshop, you will be guided through the principals of this deeply relaxing, pain relieving, and soul retrieving blend of assisted yoga and mindful movement. Through demonstration and hands on practice, you will learn a 30 minute sequence you can offer friends and family.
This is a great introduction for anyone wanting to learn Thai Yoga Therapy without the commitment to a training program or for anyone considering further study. Students who register for this class will be offered a $50 discount on 2019 Intuitive Thai Therapy Level 1 Certification Trainings.
Note: Students should be comfortable getting down and up from the floor and spending time on their knees. Please wear comfortable clothes to class - like for yoga or gym - free of zippers or buttons and dress in layers to account for changes in temperature.
