Designed for school teachers, therapists, social workers, yoga teachers, first responders, spiritual teachers, healers, bodyworkers and all forms of caretakers.

This workshop will explore how secondary trauma affects individuals, and how to cultivate steps toward self-care solutions.

What to Expect:

-Introduction to understanding vicarious trauma, signs/symptoms and practical applications

-Yoga, movement, meditation, sharing and lecture

-Self-Care Inventory

-Access to videos and audio for continuing yoga and meditation self-care practice.

-Take home tools to restore balance and renew hope for those doing this work.

Students will leave the workshop with tangible and unique self-care tools to weave into their life.

Tara Tonini is the Founder and Director of Bloom Healing Yoga and the Program Director of Exhale to Inhale. She is a yoga and meditation teacher, Master Reiki Healer and Birth Doula. Tara has trained under the top trauma specialists including Bessel Van Der Kolk, M.D., David Emerson, Jenn Turner, Lisa Danylchuck and Hala Khouri.

Tara approaches each workshop though a trauma-informed lens weaving in creativity along with safety and simplicity to create an environment for choice making, nourishment and accessibility.
