For others, everyday stress is so commonplace that it has become a way of life - we are a society running on stress!

Stress is one of the greatest threats to our wellbeing + overall health, influencing physiology, thoughts + feelings, then ultimately our behavior. Because it weakens the immune system, stress plays a role in the onset of just about every imbalance or disease, from digestive distress to the common cold to heart disease. Our high levels of stress are influencing the way we project ourselves as individuals into the world - fatigued, irritable, impatient, and generally unwell.

Fortunately, the ancient healing science of Ayurveda offers many solutions to combat daily stress. In this class, we will discuss inputs of external stress, how they influence the body + mind at a chemical level. I will introduce specific, simple + practical dietary, herbal + lifestyle remedies that can be easily incorporated into your daily routine to quickly improve your ability to manage and eliminate accumulated stress. The wisdom of Ayurveda gives insight into developing a strategy to gain control over the mind, enabling you to access the personal power necessary to create the experience of peace of mind.
