Sept 16th -18th -- Connecting Through Vibrations : Lunar Eclipse Retreat for Sounds & Movement

with Katie Down and Nami Soga

Katie and Nami will guide you through a restorative and sensory weekend of yoga and meditation with deep listening using all the senses, including Nada Yoga - the yoga of sound. Through the journey of yoga asanas, mantras, bija syllables, vocal toning exercises, sound bath meditations, and moments to receive Reiki and CranioSacral Therapy with scent of essential oils, this weekend will give you the opportunity to retire into the beauty of nature's vibration.
With the energy of the Full Harvest Moon Eclipse, we will together celebrate cycles of life. Through deep listening into all the vibrations around us and inside us, we will connect as one.

Katie Down,  MMT, MT-BC, LCAT, is a board-certified, licensed psychotherapist in the state of New York. She received her master's degree in music psychotherapy at New York University, Level II in EMDR with Laurel Parnell,  and additional trauma training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.
Katie's approach to healing is to create an environment where compassion, embodiment, connection, and joy can take place. Through mindfulness meditation techniques,  talk therapy, music and sound, Katie helps people facing issues of grief, depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, and neurological challenges such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. Working on a holistic level beginning with our own inherent wellness, Katie looks at some of the root causes of symptoms and chronic issues, through a  non-judgmental approach, giving everyone the encouragement to develop personal strengths and full potential while gaining tools for understanding, accepting, and letting go of emotional blockages. Benefits from music psychotherapy come through deep listening, creating new neural pathways for optimal health.
