with Kat Vollono & Tekowa Lakica
Are you feeling stuck? Living out of sync with your gut? Trying to deepen your intuitive self expression?
Join Kat Vollono and Tekowa Lakica for a signature group healing event – Breathwork Soundscape for Intuition. Nurture and cleanse your emotional body with breathwork followed by a deeply immersive and meditative experience of sound.
Breathwork is a 2-part breath serving as an active meditation that helps bring attention to the physical, emotional and spiritual experiences living in our bodies. Breathwork is a powerful way to connect to our innate wisdom, serving as a source of self- healing. Breathwork puts us in touch with energetic blocks in the forms of emotions, pain, memories, and is a transcendental experience. Through the process of the breath, we have the opportunity to release emotional blocks and peel back the layers that keep us from our fullest expression of self. Afterwards we feel open, hopeful, full of gratitude.
After Breathwork, we will take time to find stillness, integrate, and reach a profound level of peace and inner quiet. Relaxing in the soothing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls and singing is the perfect setting to support the process of natural healing in the body and the mind.
Tekowa Lakica is a neosoul recording and performing artist. Since her formal introduction to meditation, mindfulness, and zen at the Morgan Bay Zendo she has been exploring the therapeutic properties of music, first through lyrics & emotion and now through frequency & vibration. She will primarily be using Tibetan singing bowls and her voice as an instrument to create live soundscapes that support participants in dropping deeper into their breathwork meditation.
Kat Vollono is a Breathwork facilitator, Psychotherapist, and Reiki Master. Her work utilizes a holistic approach to help others self actualize, connect people to the source of their pain, and empower them to move past trauma, depression, and anxiety. As a licensed psychotherapist and student of David Elliott and Lisa Levine, Kat works as a trauma-informed, strengths-based, affirming, empowering, feminist, and anti-oppressive healer. She has led group workshops out of Narayana Yoga and AP Cafe in Bushwick. She is committed to her own personal work and excited by learning and growing alongside her clients.
