Learn Foot Reflexology with THAI BROOKLYN.

Did you know that an average, reasonably active person walks over 100,000 miles in a life span of 70 years?

That's like walking four times around the entire globe!

Our feet are not just important for how we move in the world, but they are also the base of our entire being. How we walk and use our feet affects not just our bodily structure and posture, but our overall health. Healing the feet is also healing for the entire being.

In this simple and fun one day course, you will learn the theory and practice of Traditional Thai Foot Reflexology, a combination of the ancient healing arts of Reflexology, Chinese Tuina, Japanese Shiatsu and Indian Ayurvedic Yoga. Working with the feet, lower legs and knees, this 2,000-year-old, highly reputed modality relaxes the lower legs and feet, mobilizes the joints of the foot, and frees up blocked energy within the body’s many sen lines (Thai-based meridians) to produce a deep and unique feeling of balance, relaxation and well-being.

In this class, you will learn:

  • Pressure points of the foot and how they correlate to the organs and emotional holdings in the body.
  • Basic anatomy and structure of the feet and lower legs.
  • A complete therapeutic massage for the feet and lower legs using hands and reflexology tools.
  • How to work with a Thai Foot Reflexology stick.
  • How to prepare and offer a Thai Herbal Foot Bath

This is great as a stand-alone treatment or an add on to your healing practice for self and others.

Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and pants that are able to roll up to the knee.

A manual and Thai Reflexology tool is included with your registration for further practice.
