Healing Flowers Natural Dyeing Retreat at Maha Rose North

Oct 20th - 22nd

with Cara Marie Piazza

Come join Cara Marie Piazza for a weekend of learning how to dye with healing flowers, relax in the bucolic scenery of Maha Rose North while experimenting with natural dyes, healing and craft.

Through gently soaking petals , learn how to create your own water colors, perfect for stationary, paintings and foraging paints. In this weekend workshop we will learn how to treat garments to be able to take natural dyes, extract color from flowers and natural dye stuffs. and imprint them onto your clothes while experimenting with advanced floral dyeing techniques you can all do at home and in nature. Through only a little steam you will learn to transmute assorted flowers into beautiful patterns, on your fabric.

This weekend we will also cover the basics of natural dyeing, how to set up your own dye studio, and how to make an organic indigo vat. Spend the mornings with Cara in class, and the afternoons for guided experimentation. Elsa de Berker a health coach practitioner will be available during off times for personal one on ones if desired.
