Friday, January 27th -- Radiant Heart Breathwork: New Moon
Full Moon Breathwork
with Erin Telford
The Full Moon illuminates what is or isn’t working in our lives. This is a culmination point of the month where something will come to a head or an ending. Every ending contains the seed of a beginning. Breathing into the truth and our hidden emotions helps us become embodied and whole!
The breath is a high form of technology for self-healing. The breath can help you to stay grounded, stay in your heart and stay present. Breathwork is part catharsis, part socially sanctioned adult temper tantrum, part community building and part psychedelic experience.
Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to purge the body of emotional gunk. You breathe with an open mouth into the belly to stir the second chakra, oxygenate and breath new life force into old stories and limiting beliefs. You draw the breath up to the heart to purify and wash these emotions with love. You breathe out of the mouth to release. The experience moves stuck emotional energy and facilitates release of strong emotions like anger and grief. It leaves you feeling softer, open and less burdened.
We’ll start with a sacred circle, sharing with our community about what is coming up for us, and then move to the breathing! I will apply essential oils to get your energy centers spinning, burn holy wood and sage to transform your emotional release, coach you through the experience with love…all set to a cosmic soundtrack.
You will leave lighter and brighter and it just might change your life. Please bring an eye cover if you have one.
