Saturdays in February -- At Home with Ourselves : Saturday Meditation Series
Saturdays in February with Danny Johnston
February 9th, 16th, 23rd
Taken together, or separately, we will explore the foundations of the Buddhist idea of the Bhrama Viharas. The Bhrama Viharas are often translated as “our best home”. The place in the mind where we would like to reside, in lovingkindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity. Over the course of three weekends, we will look at and engage with these four noble qualities of our mind. There will be two guided meditations and time for reflections per session.
Feel free to drop into one in the series or all. Whether you are beginning your meditation practice, would like to learn new techniques, or are deepening your existing practice all are welcome.
Exchange: $20 drop in (per class)
